Our guides know their wine.
Local People & Certified Sommelier
Amador Uncorked was started by a Certified Sommelier (basically a fancy wine geek). A Certified Sommelier has gone through a rigorous test of wine knowledge and service skills after months of researching and tasting the world of wine. A Sommelier is required to know the difference between Zinfandel and Cabernet, why slopes are good places to grow grapes and what makes a wine have “legs”. A Certified Sommelier also makes a great wine tour guide. Does a limo driver know that stuff? A local, knowledgeable guide is invaluable when exploring a new wine region. He can help you find the wine for your taste buds and the best place to stop for lunch. Our guides are locals and know where to go!
How many wineries will we visit?
